Hope for Children in Uvira
Every Dollar Saves a Life (EDSL) is a nonprofit humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable children in Uvira, Democratic Republic of Congo. We focus on children affected by war, poverty, and displacement by providing access to education, nutrition, safe shelter, and proper clothing.
Our organization was founded on a simple belief: one dollar, one child, one life can make a difference.
Through community partnerships and local leadership in Uvira, we work to restore hope, dignity, and opportunity to children who need it most. We serve children directly while strengthening families and communities so lasting change can happen.

Safe Place to Sleep

Most Kids in Kahorohoro Village are in extreme need of a safe environment to sleep. A blanket, a mattress and a net to protect them from mosquitoes 🦟 is needed.

We provide clothing, shoes and hygiene kits so children can live with dignity and confidence.
